This photograph was taken in one of the poorest places in Honduras.  After staying four days and three nights without electricity or plumbing, these two young women waited patiently while the HOMBRE organization continued to provide the surrounding community with free basic medical care.  The female on the top left was a family doctor from Northern Virginia and the young girl on the bottom right was a local Honduran child.  These two young women bonded during their time together in rural Honduras.

All natural light was used to capture this image.  There are no post-editing modifications.

Photo taken while accompanying the VCU School of Medicine and the HOMBRE (Honduras Outreach Medical Brigada Relief Effort) organization.
